When I was growing up, very great distances were described as being "from here to Timbuktu."  Many years later, that got me to thinking:  WHERE IS Timbuktu?  I know.  Do you?

 Incidentally, the richest man who ever lived was Mansa Musa, the ruler of Mali, who was estimated to have $400,000,000,000 dollars(four hundred billion dollars) worth of gold, in today's dollars.  He ruled from 1312 to 1337.

You know and enjoy many things Mansa Musa could not even dream about, such as ice cream, chocolate chip cookies, television and computers, which can take you around the world any time.
